Amazing example of teamwork. :^)
The one thing the photo’s don’t express was the fun they were having. Mad eurovision music blasting out as they throwing themselves of the gantry hanging to the ropes to make the puppets move… brilliant
Wonderful series of photos, thanks for showing us what looks like a really good show. 🙂
We really enjoyed it couldn’t wait to get the photo’s up… i took 254 in two hours 😉
Can’t wait to watch the TV program about it on Wednesday evening…
wonderful pictures – thank you for sharing. I miss Liverpool so much (we used to call it home).
Thank you, I can see by your blog you have moved to warmer climates… Rhyl perhaps 😉
Nice to hear that there is a TV programme coming up. Glad you also recorded the day for us.
It will be an interesting programme, can’t wait to see it 🙂
I wanted to go to this but didn’t manage it! Thanks for these — it looks (and sounds) amazing . I shall watch the TV programme.
glad you liked the photo’s shame you couldn’t make it. the photo’s don’t capture the fun the puppeteers were having. Keep an eye on the Liverpool sites I,m sure their will be more great things happening.
i’m a bit freaked out by puppets (despite being a hard-core muppets fan) but these photos are really good, never knew stuff like this happened in our country!
Statler and Waldorf… ace.. We are really lucky it has to be said, something big always happening at some point.. last year was http://themacula.com/ and various other arts exhibitions dotted around and about 🙂
These photos caught my attention – from the comments I gather they are puppets from a show that is to be broadcast …? Great puppets!!
hiya Lynne they were fantastic, here is a little link to explain what the show was about 🙂 http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-merseyside-17806029
Amazing pictures of what looked like an amazing event. Hope it was as much fun as it looked.
Ah! Now, this is your best set of this event! They are really good! I just love the huge ‘puppets’! They are fab!
I must admit to disliking puppets, especially large doll like ones, they scare me a little but seeing the teamwork that goes into to putting on such a show is wonderful. Thank you 🙂
Hi, just in case you hadn’t heard, the TV program about the Sea Odyssey that was due to be screened on Wednesday has now been moved to next Monday on BBC. I think they said 8:30pm. What I don’t know, is if it’s nationwide or just on BBC Northwest.
brilliant thanks for the heads up 🙂
Reblogged this on Lster921's Blog and commented:
What an amazing piece of work! All of these people working together is fantastic enough, but the huge doll form! Wow!
