Great series, especially like the shot of the Spitfire (or Hurricane, can’t tell from the picture) with the hazey Liver building. I’m hoping to pop across today or tomorrow to see what’s going on 😊

Haven’t forgotten, it will be sorted in the next couple of days.
Lovely photos… Unfortunately you didn’t have one of my dad who took himself to the pier head on Saturday to parade with the merchant navy veterans without telling anyone. He was 15 when he was a gunner in the merchant navy at the battle of the Atlantic.. I would have loved to have a photo of him there. He said he cried when they got all the applause from the crowd. He lost a lot of friends at sea Someone took a photo of him sat chatting to another veteran (a stranger) but he didn’t know who they were… So I’m checking all blogs and Flickr for any photos of him. Thank you for sharing yours
Thank you for your comment and I hope your dad had a great day, it was a lovely moving ceremony and so glad I was there to witness it. I happen to have a photo somewhere of a couple of gents chatting on a bench I will dig it out.
These are wonderful! Such an historic event and you’ve captured it beautifully.
