I’ve seen the Tryfan goats on several occasions, once quite close to the A5 – I think it was a particularly cold spell at the time.
They pop up in some strange places, mostly when visibility is down to a few feet you can see them peering at you… I,m sure they stalk me…

Last ones we saw were by Loch Lomond and whilst it shouldn’t we did jump! Daft as they are as you say just like sheep. It does make a change and gives you a thrill of being ‘in the wilds’
Seeing these and the wild ponies on carnedd make my day…doesnt take much to make me smile 🙂
Dixie says they’re all fair game – sheep, goats, with horns, without horns……and then she wonders why she’s never off the lead!
Our Dog is just plain daft, she stays on the lead save her walking of the edges 😉
